We are Lauren and Philip (and Lennox). 

    We started our photography journey in 2019 with our first client—a dance studio, of course! Like most beginners in a brand new avenue, we learned along the way. After our first photoshoot, we were inspired to continue, and more importantly, we were excited to build a brand together.

    We both live in the art world. Philip, by trade, is a guitarist and composer, and Lauren is a dance instructor and choreographer. Firebird references Igor Stravinsky’s famous orchestral work, which is paired with ballet choreography by Michel Fokine. The elision of these two art forms is a very personal theme, and our experience with music and dance have been foundational elements in Firebird Creative’s success. Our attention to detail and personal artistry are what led us to be a thriving photography brand. We are constantly met with new challenges that we embrace, and I believe our clients and prospective clients see this and appreciate our ability to adapt and evolve. 

    Currently, Firebird Creative serves the North East Florida area, and we are honored to work with many dancers in the community. While our primary focus is capturing performance art, our portfolio also includes corporate events, family and individual portraits, newborns, headshots, and live events.  Firebird Creative also offers video, audio, and live-streaming services. Their clients include Duval County Public Schools,  Mandarin United Methodist Church, ICE Learning Center (medical education), Duval County School Police,  DanceLook, Lavilla School of the Arts, and more.
